Multi-colored Wools, Solid and Multi-colored Merino* Wools, Luxury fibers, and fiber blends are handspun into soft, lofty, and warm 'Super Bulky' Yarn, then hand knit into this classic garter stitch hat. Our Super Bulky yarn has been described as "extreme spinning" and averages less than 200 ypp. The hats are designed to be worn with a rolled-up brim, but can be ordered brimless if you prefer.
Because these hats are becoming so popular, we cannot guarantee the color or fiber you request is ready to ship. I'm spinning (and knitting and weaving) as fast as I can! Most orders can be filled within a week. We will notify you of the expected shipment date at the time of your order.

One size fits most.
We will gladly accept returns or exchanges within 14 days if the hats do not meet your expectations. Any hat can be re-made to suit a particular preference for length (brim or no brim) and fit (loose or tight). Refunds are for the purchase price and the buyer is responsible for return shipping.

*Merino is a particular breed of sheep known for the outstanding softness of its wool. When handspun into the Bulky and Super Bulky yarn used in these hats, it is beyond compare - the softest wool hat you'll ever wear.
**While visual blending does occurs, the individual colors that make up the multi-colors appear randomly on the surface of the yarn and allow the hats to match and 'go with' a wide range in colors of outdoor clothing.

Summer Hats
In response to numerous requests for a hat that could be worn during 'off season' , we have a variety of lightweight hats, similar to the winter hat without a fold-over brim. One size fits most. These are decorative accessories, with a variety of color and yarn combinations. Matching knit scarves are also available. Prices reflect the cost of materials and prices range from $30 - $45 for hats, and $25 - $85 for scarves, including shipping.
