pieces are of special interest to me because they most truly represent
what it is I do with fiber.- what I know about it, what I like about it,
and how I enjoy using it. Certainly they are the things I spend
the most time with and that I 'know' the best. And as I explore
hand dying this becomes even satisfying.
I consider myself a
skilled craftsperson, but these pieces are my way of making art*
. The 'great debate' between art and craft* makes for interesting
discussions, but ultimately remains in the eyes of the beholder*.
